relatives tend to deliver this sagely statement,
hectic plans for your lifelong internment!

some poor souls have decided themselves beforehand,
thier terror doubles,inertia increases,panic's preplanned!!
elopements are considered,mediators are in demand,
finely tuned pleas polished,delivered as they reveal thier hand!

but the man up there watches,waits,
till he is called upon,by unwilling suitors or earnest parents,
he twists the planets,adjusts the fates,

Melancholy strikes

the time is upon us,as sleep beckons,
for all us loners,insomniacs,bachelors,workaholics..all,
to reflect,revisit ..sift the rights from wrongs,
to ponder our limitations,to reassess our faults

melancholy envelops the limited air around,
the cloak of depression, kept at bay all day, is set free,
we meditate,feeling the subconscious abound ,
sometimes we fall asleep happy or sad-as the fates decree!!

But we rise,well slept,refreshed,wise once again,
we reload our minds,reboot our lives,get in the zone,
wash away our imaginary troubles,caffeinate our brain,
prepare once again to walk the road down the unknown

everyone wants to know what lies ahead ,
in the future,in the vast abyss of time,
most of them turn to the divine or to voices in thier head,
the RHYMONSTER "just forget it and enjoy this rhyme"

does patience pay?? do i dare ask?
let's examine this onerous task!!
does the eternal waiting remain in vain?
do the hours bear fruit or do u sit thru unabating pain?

am i asking too much ?? for luck to arrive,
to reduce the uncertainity,to let us thrive,
or is it better to ponder quietly,loudly,to each his own,
if the task is delayed,be quick to disown!!

patience,perseverance-2 sides of a struggle??
or several threads requiring only a needle??
is the direction better achieved thru "in-action"?
will the task tilt direction,or lack satisfaction??

whatever the battle,the decision is essential,
to act? not to act? -the question infernal!!

though my hands are still empty,
got to be content with continuous replay,

my mania is hitting high,getting in my game,
spewing choice words at thier critics.

awaiting at night ,bated breath,
an indian release would be a neverending wait,
