adimali-mysterious valleys n dales

again work strikes a mighty blow
as the RHYMONSTER is forced on the go!
adimali -- is his new locale,
towering peaks ,mists deathly pale.

as the winding roads dive past gorge and hill,
and weather proceeded to drop 2 chill,
the journey progressed by 3 hours--fate,
and the vista could inspire artists to create

gorgeous valleys covered lush underwood,
endless water cascading downhill-water Falls as it should,
plenty of animals just waiting(out of sight) to preen,
adimali type forests are right down my scene.

the RHYMONSTER wishes to share such memories,
so fervently wishing someone would visit please!!!
to them i doth promise ---what they wish most,
beach or ferry ,hill or coast,
the RHYMONSTER shall runneth from pillar to post.


hey guys another work related 3 hour trip to the mountains ...man i love kerala...anything for such natural beauty.the journey is half the picnic if u know what i mean

Kattapana-mystic mountainnnn

from the heavy hot hub of cochin,
RHYMONSTER preferred to change his scene..
off he dashed on a 5 hr trip,
to kattapana-any soul's necessary fillip!!

the land of heavy mists and perpetual ravines,
situated an hour from Munnar's pines,
is a town of majestic mountains,
befitting birdwatchers or a mystic's penance!

come one and all, dying for solitude,
or the brash and backpacking dude!
For here stands before u lofty kattapana,
take my word for--- its heaven's manna!!!

a 2 hour visit to a beautiful place in the guise of work was marred only by the lonely sojourn back.suffice it to say that company is welcome.

MERRY CHRISTMAS U GUYS/GALS

islands of laze

on a sunday unremarkable
was i up at three ---uh oh trouble!!
playing chaperone or rather willing host,
cuz generally the sun beats me to the post!
my paper's supplied by the 12.00 plane,
and i pick it up goggle..mumble..complain!!

but this day was rather different as u know,
headed for vypeen island --a fishermans cove!!
nah!its actually huge and quite mysterious,
cause at 11.00 history merges with us!!

loitered idly along an idyllic coastline,
watched gigantic fishing nets and strung twine,
TIME i mentioned the cats of this (is)land
beaten up yet they dont wait off your hand
proud felines pass thru many wars
the fights for fish ever so sparse

and the isles live on.....ever preen,
willingdon,cochin,gundu,bolghatty even vypeen,
and so many others out yonder! lush and green,
reminds me why KERALA is the RHYMONSTERS scene

on the wings plunging downwards ,in a cloudy sky....
just jesting its cool to fly.
at 36000 feet the slipstream is cool,
"-46 degrees " outside , we were taught at school.

but perforce lets concentrate on rolling fields,
of to be harvested milk clouds,
the feeling of adrenaline !cheeeez!!
as u break thru cold cloud shrouds.

endless farms of ice and mist coax a quiet moan!
from any first time traveller -cuz hes in dream zone,,
what with bewitching hostesses and cute passengers,
and a view 4 u that brings up endless verse!!!

the beauty of the machine and its cool machoism,
the valley of fragile bluff and the sun thru any schism,
the ethereal beauty of a night time sky,oh!!!
as blinding lightning puts on quite a show!!

the RHYMONSTER wishes he was not alone
on the gentle beast of steel,
as the reverse thrusters kicked home,
and down came the faithful steed!!!!

i liked my first few experiences on board a plane...yowzah

Life

we get to renew with old chums our bonds ,
while new ones we find proceed to leave,
as they go we grow fond('s),
of the memory that exists to deceive.

for 2 of my best friends --we have once again found,
that all grass that grows has to break free,
through the earth -kindred hard wrought ground,
vijay and prassi we once again smile with glee.
knowing a good argument once a while is necessary.

as for pavan and an unnamed friend ,
on both for a while i needed to depend,
we learnt little from each other and yet found a friendship,
one will still be in TATA,the other will give it the slip.

for all of you the saying goes,
when the RHYMONSTER pens,
he has supreme knowledge,it shows ,
there will be many ..(unnamed or otherwise)
who will not desist to think twice
and stand beside him in unmanned lion's dens.
